Without objection, the bill was before the Senate on reconsideration. Senator Olson moved the bill be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 2. Senators Olson, Bishop offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 1, line 1, following "Act": Insert "relating to facilities constituting a school;" Page 1, following line 4: Insert new bill section to read: "Section 1. AS 14.17.905(c) is amended to read: (c) Notwithstanding (a)(2) and (a)(3) of this section, in a community with an ADM of greater than 425 that has only one facility administered as a school, excluding charter schools, for students in grades kindergarten through 12, the number of schools for the community shall be counted under (a)(2) of this section."
